Description
Development & cooperation
The 2-point “Jérôme” breastplate was developed in close collaboration with professional eventer Jérôme Robiné and tested under real conditions. Practical experience thus flowed directly into the design and functionality of the product to meet the highest demands in equestrian sport.
Material & finish
Made from high-quality oiled, vegetable-tanned European leather, the breastplate offers a soft, supple feel. The natural grain and the patina that develops over time give the leather an individual look. It is also water- and dirt-repellent, durable and easy to care for.
Design & functionality
Through the 2-point attachment on the saddle sides the risk of catching a front hoof is avoided. At the same time the wide, soft chest pad effectively prevents the saddle from slipping backwards. The anatomical shape and the elastic inserts at the sides offer the horse maximum freedom of movement, especially in the shoulder area.
Comfort for the horse
Particular importance was placed on comfort: a soft wither pad as well as lined rings and buckles prevent pressure points or rubs. The triple adjustability enables individual adaptation to the horse's anatomy.
Aesthetics & details
Despite high functionality the breastplate impresses with elegant accents such as contrast stitching and a decorative embroidery with Kavalkade emblem on the chest pad. That makes it a stylish and at the same time practical piece of equipment.
Care & notes
For care a damp cloth is usually sufficient. If needed a special leather care product can be used. For longer storage the breastplate should be kept protected from light, dust and moisture. Note: oil residues can transfer to other materials, so avoid contact with light fabrics.
